Rangers reportedly calling up Alexi Ogando

According to Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes, right-hander Alexi Ogando is on his way from Triple A Oklahoma City to Milwaukee to join the Rangers. No word yet from the Rangers.

So, whose roster spot will Ogando take? Rich Harden is a candidate. Maybe his arm is "sore" and requires some DL time. Any move with Harden could put Matt Harrison back in the rotation until Derek Holland is healthy and activated from the disabled list. Harden could use the down time to get himself straightened out.

Everyone should know soon enough.

Comments

Last night Rich Harden was the worst pitcher I've ever seen. He either threw the ball over the batter's head or right down the middle at 85 mph. I wish they would get somebody from Oklahoma City to take his place or just some old guy off the street.
