Sources, report: Rangers working to acquire a catcher

Baseball sources have indicated that the delay in the announcement of a roster move is being caused by the Rangers' pursuit of a trade for a catcher, and Fox Sports is reporting that the Rangers are working with San Francisco in a deal involving Bengie Molina.

When asked about the delay in making a roster move so that Omar Beltre can be added to the roster to make his major-league debut tonight, manager Ron Washington said, "We might have something working." He said something would be known by the time the Rangers finish batting practice. That should happen shortly after 8 p.m. CDT.
