The Tommy Hunter-Josh Hamilton connection

It's almost eerie now. Hamilton has homered in all five of Hunter's starts this year, and that includes the one he had to leave after just 2 1/3 innings in Florida. Hunter, not surprisingly, is a big Hamilton fan right now.

"Awesome, so sick," Hunter said. "I have no idea what's going on, but I love him. Every time."

Hamilton, who has 18 homers this year, can't figure it out either. But he's not trying too.

"When I walked in the dugout I forgot about it again," Hamilton said. "He's reminded me every time he pitches. I told him last week he's putting too much pressure on me. He said 'I'll take doubles in the gap. I said okay, and I've still been able to do it."

The Rangers are 5-0 with the Hamilton-Hunter combo working.
