Manager Ron Washington has decided to give Vladimir Guerrero a day off. Guerrero played all four games against Baltimore; traveled to, played in and traveled from the All-Star Game; and played the first five games of the second half. A byproduct of the move is that Josh Hamilton gets a day as the DH to rest his right knee. Hamilton said the knee is OK.
