The move, which is retroactive to Aug. 8, means the Rangers don't have a Tuesday starter against Tampa Bay. Harden could start a rehab asisgnment as early at Tuesday for Oklahoma City. The Tuesday starter is TBA, with Scott Feldman and Derek Holland options.
The Rangers have recalled Brandon Boggs to take Harden's roster spot.
