Sunday pre-game notes and lineups

Nelson Cruz said his left hamstring isn't hurt, but it is tight. He said it is feeling better and he hopes to be available to pinch hit today. He isn't in the starting lineup, as Mitch Moreland gets the start in right.

Also not in the starting lineup is Vladimir Guerrero, although manager Ron Washington said it was a planned day off. It also gives the Rangers a chance to get Josh Hamilton a little bit of a break as he is the designated hitter, with Julio Borbon starting in center.

The Rangers are going to make a roster move, but don't know for who. Brandon Boggs is here, but the Rangers want Cruz to test his hamstring before making a move. If Cruz is OK, then the likely move is Boggs for Pedro Strop.
