Tonight's lineups, featuring Michael Young

Michael Young said that he knew his neck would be fine as soon as the Rangers' plane touched down in Baltimore on Wednesday night, and it was reinforced when he woke up Thursday morning. There's a legend that the hotel the Rangers occupy in St. Petersburg is haunted. Maybe one of the phantoms there is really big Rays fan and put a hex on Young. The Rangers might want to bring in a priest if they go back for a playoff series. Whatever. Young's playing third base against Baltimore after missing two straight games.

Rangers lineup vs. LHP Brian Matusz: Elvis Andrus, ss; Michael Young, 3b; Josh Hamilton, cf; Vladimir Guerrero, dh; Bengie Molina, c; David Murphy, lf; Jorge Cantu, 1b; Brandon Boggs, rf; Andres Blanco, 2b.

Orioles lineup vs. RHP Colby Lewis: Brian Roberts, 2b; Nick Markakis, rf; Ty Wigginton, 3b; Luke Scott, 1b; Adam Jones, cf; Felix Pie, lf; Matt Wieters, c; Corey Patterson, dh; Cesar Izturis, ss.

What the heck is Washington thinking batting Molina ahead of Murphy again tonight?

glad we were able to work Boggs' awful bat AND horrendous fielding "skills" into the lineup tonight. well done Ron. guy can't hit or field, never has...wonderful qualities for a corner outfielder at the major league level. I enjoyed Colby's reaction to Boggs not even getting a glove on the easy fly to right in 7th, starts with "F" and rhymes with an aquatic waterfowl...well said Colby. thanks Boggs!
an all around team failure (starting as usual at the top for filling out that lineup card with Boggs in it instead of Borbon), but continued lack of hits against Orioles is quite troubling, Boggs' soon-to-be-demoted-AAA stink notwithstanding.
