Josh Hamilton visits back expert, test results pending

Outfielder Josh Hamilton is visiting noted back specialist Dr. Robert Watkins in Marina Del Ray for a series of tests on his injured ribs, and the results won't be known until after first pitch tonight. Hamilton will miss his 14th game since being injured Sept. 4. Manager Ron Washington wouldn't speculate on when Hamilton might return to the lineup.

Right-hander Frank Francisco won't throw until Tuesday. He was expecting to throw today, but team doctors decided to give him one more day for the strained muscle on his right side to recover.

The Rangers have been working for about a month with Fox Sports to get Saturday's game televised. As of now, it is the only game on the Rangers' 162-schedule not on TV this year. The problem? The Rangers could clinch the West title Saturday, and no one in the Metroplex would be able to see it. Oakland is unwilling to change the game time, which would be an easy fix for the Rangers.

Reserved seats for the first two games of the division series in Arlington are sold out, leaving only scattered single seats, obstructed-view seats and standing-room only tickets. All three can be purchased on the phone at 972-RANGERS or at the first-base ticket office at Rangers Ballpark. Standing-room tickets are not available online, but the other two are at texasrangers.com.
