Monday postgame Rangers notes

This is the redeye edition, so it will be short.

C.J. Wilson is winless over his last five starts. The homer he allowed to Justin Smoak was the first he's surrendered in Arlington since July 6.

Nelson Cruz has dominated the Mariners, hitting .429 with five homers and 11 RBIs against Seattle.

The loss guarantees the Rangers will not finish ahead of Tampa Bay. If the Rangers win out and Tampa Bay loses, they finish with the same record but Tampa owns the tiebreaker.

Seattle had scored a total of five runs in its last four games against Texas.
