Rangers Tuesday pregame notes

The Rangers plan to have Cliff Lee pitch this weekend, they just don't know if it's going to be Saturday or Sunday.

Manager Ron Washington said Elvis Andrus will not play for the Rangers in this series. Andrus ran today and will take batting practice. Tomorrow will be crucial in seeing how his hamstring responds. He said he plans to play Friday vs. the Yankees.

Josh Hamilton's treatment hasn't changed. He still hasn't done any baseball activities.

Speaking of the Yankees, only 4,000 tickets remain for Friday's series opener. The Blue Man Group will do the national anthem and perform during the game.
