Sunday Rangers postgame notes

The Rangers got some more good news Sunday, as Frank Francisco threw at about 80 percent from flat ground. He said he threw all his pitches, and is hoping to throw a bullpen session Tuesday. He's still optimistic he'll be ready for the postseason.

As for the game. ...

The 16 runs scored are the most since April 15, 2009.

The 22 hits are the most since Aug. 22, 2007, when the Rangers beat Baltimore 30-3.

Jeff Francoeur is 14 for his last 31 and is hitting .385 since he joined the Rangers.

Colby Lewis passed Edwin Correa for seventh place on the single-season strikeout list. Lewis has 192. He is also four innings shy of 200 for the year.
