Former presidents to throw out Game 4 first pitch

Former presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush will throw out the ceremonial first pitch Sunday for Game 4 of the World Series. W has been a frequent visitor to Rangers Ballpark this year and was the club's managing general partner from 1989 to 1994.

Nolan Ryan will take the hill for the first pitch of Game 3 on Saturday. He threw out the first pitch in Game 1 of the ALCS and rifled about an 80 mph fastball with movement. Game 3 is scheduled to start at 5:57 p.m., the earliest start for a World Series game in more than 20 years.

Kelly Clarkson will sing the National Anthem on Saturday, and Lyle Lovett will perform it Sunday. God Bless America will be performed by actress Martha Plimpton, as Fox gets in some cross-promotion for the show Raising Hope, and a group of former combat veterans, 4Troops, will sing Sunday.
