The Giants extended what already appeared to be a big enough cushion by another run as Buster Posey hit a solo homer in the eighth to make it 4-0 San Francisco. The homer came off Darren O'Day, who also allowed a homer in Game 1.
The Rangers look finished as Madison Bumgarner heads out for the bottom of the eighth.
