Right-hander Mark Lowe, who was part of the Cliff Lee trade, has been added to the Rangers World Series roster. Lowe takes the spot of left-hander Clay Rapada, who was on the team's roster for the American League Championship Series.
Lowe spent most of the season on the disabled list because of back surgery. He pitched in three games for the Rangers in September, allowing four runs in three innings.
Lowe, who played collegiately at UTA, has pitched in 14 games total this season.
Lowe nabbed the final spot over right-hander Dustin Nippert, who was on the team's roster for the American League Division Series.
