World Series Game 1 lineups

The Rangers' lineup wasn't too hard to figure out for their first ever World Series game. The starters today have become part of the standard flying formation against right-handers, minus David Murphy. He has to sit with Vladimir Guerrero pushed into outfield duty in a National League ballpark.

Rangers lineup vs. RHP Tim Lincecum: Elvis Andrus, ss; Michael Young, 3b; Josh Hamilton, cf; Vladimir Guerrero, rf; Nelson Cruz, lf; Ian Kinsler, 2b; Bengie Molina, c; Mitch Moreland, 1b, Cliff Lee, p.

Giants lineup vs. LHP Cliff Lee: Andres Torres, cf; Freddy Sanchez, 2b; Buster Posey, c; Pat Burrell, lf; Cody Ross, rf; Aubrey Huff, 1b; Juan Uribe, 3b; Edgar Renteria, ss; Tim Lincecum, p.
