Francisco expected to accept arbitration

The details are still to be worked out, but the Rangers expect right-hander Frank Francisco to accept arbitration tonight. The Rangers will then sign him to a one-year deal. Having Francisco back will be key, as he developed into a solid set-up man before missing the month of September and the entire playoffs because of a muscle strain in his right latissmus dorsi muscle. The Rangers expect him to be at 100 percent by spring training.
