Rangers sign catcher Yorvit Torrealba

The Rangers' search for a catcher has ended with Yorvit Torrealba, who has agreed to a two-year contract worth $6.25 million. Torrealba spent last season with San Diego, played 95 games -- catching 92 and starting 89. He hit .271 in 325 at-bats with a .343 on-base percentage over 363 plate appearances.
