The Rangers wasted no time in hiring a new hitting coach, selecting Thad Bosley only a day after interviewing him and several other candidates.
Bosley was Oakland's hitting coach from 2000 to 2003, when he served with Ron Washington on the A's staff. Bosley interviewed last year to replace Rudy Jaramillo, but was the runner-up to Clint Hurdle. Hurdle left last week to become Pittsburgh's manager.

i agree with whom ron washington wants to be as his hitting coach. we had a good one last yearor this year ad look where he went.
i can see why nolan and the yankee lefty didnt talk about the rangers, they were too busy balking about their two teams im sorta waiting to have one or two of the teams as ranger teams
im sure nolan would love that.
