Left-hander C.J. Wilson, who won 15 games last season and has spent his entire career with the Rangers, will be the Opening Day starter against Boston barring anything unforeseen this spring, said manager Ron Washington.
Wilson and right-hander Colby Lewis entered spring training as the only two pitchers with rotation spots locked up, and they have received positive reviews so far this spring. Ten others are competing for the final three spots.
