Michael Young speaks about meetings with Jon Daniels

Michael Young exited tonight's Cactus League game after seven innings and gave the media a few minutes to discuss the revelation that he and general manager Jon Daniels have had two meetings this spring. They were Wednesday and Thursday, and intially instigated by Daniels.

Both called the meetings productive and said the lines of communication are open. Here's what Young had to say:

"I laid out in detail what I was feeling, what my concerns were and gave him the opportunity to do the same. Anytime you’re going to sit down with somebody where there’s a problem or an issue and air things out face-to-face, it’s always productive."

"There's a right way to handle it and a wrong way. If he's got something to say to me or I've got something to say to him, I think it would be open to discussion."
