Rangers right-hander Tommy Hunter allowed one run on seven hits in five innings of a Triple A game for the Rangers in Surprise.
Hunter said he wasn't working on anything different than he did in his last start, when he allowed seven runs against San Francisco. The biggest difference was his location, as Hunter was able to work down in the strike zone. He also felt good about his changeup.
Hunter didn't walk a batter and threw 80 pitches, 55 for strikes.
