Tuesday morning Rangers update

The bus leaves for Peoria at 11 a.m. MST, though the Rangers aren't exactly sending their top lineup to face division-rival Seattle. I smell some serious sand-bagging here.

Take a look at the lineup: Julio Borbon, cf; Esteban German, 2b; David Murphy, rf; Brian Barden, 3b; Mitch Moreland, 1b; Yorvit Torrealba, 2; Chris Davis, dh; Andres Blanco, ss; Endy Chavez, lf.

Adrian Beltre spent part of his Tuesday morning running in a swimming pool. He later went out to Nolan Ryan Field and played catch, and he was planning to hit in the cages a little later. The Rangers haven't budged from their original diagnosis of 10 to 14 days, which at this point is down to five to nine days.

Brandon Webb is set for a morning bullpen session. He said that he expects to be on a mound every other day, though he hasn't been given a timetable for when he might be pitching in a game. "I have to be throwing strikes first," he said.
