Your Monday Rangers vs. Mariners postgame nuggets

The last time the Rangers opened a season 4-0 was 1996. That team went on to win its first seven games.

The 4-0 start is tied for the third-longest win streak to open the season for Texas. They also did it in 1992 and 1977.

The Rangers have 26 extra-base hits in 32 innings of offensive baseball.

The Rangers have hit 13 home runs, with 10 of them being solo shots.

Texas is hitting .308 as a team.

The homerless streak by Elvis Andrus was the second longest in club history. The only hitter who went more than Andrus' 705 at-bats between homers was Scott Fletcher. He ended his Texas career without a homer in 914 at-bats.

The Mariners haven't scored off Darren O'Day in his last 13 appearances against them.

Neftali Feliz has retired all nine batters he's faced this year.

I want to see Julio Borbon steal bases. Why does Wash doesn't send him when he is in the pads? Don't have a quick first step or what? He is fast. He would not be able to play center field if he was not fast. So what is the problem?
