Rangers game postponed

A 7-0 lead for the Rangers was erased by rain as the game against Oakland was postponed after a delay of 2 hours, 21 minutes.

The game will be replayed in its entirety on a date to be determined when Oakland returns later this season. Tickets for the game can be exchanged for tickets to any home game later this season, subject to availability.

Texas had scored seven runs off Oakland starter Gio Gonzalez. The biggest stat victim was Mitch Moreland, whose first career grand slam was wiped off the books. Matt Harrison had also pitched four innings of one-hit baseball.

such an evil rule. Feel bad for Moreland.

How do we not wait until later to decide this since it's going to be cleared out enough to play in a couple of hours and neither team has a game tomorrow?
