Rangers vs. Erik Bedard

The Rangers are taking some early batting practice here at Safeco Feild, where it's about 55 degrees and the roof is open. They went 16 for 68 (.235) in the final two games against Oakland, both losses, with no homers and only six runs scored. Maybe they will have better fortune tonight against Erik Bedard, who is 1-4 with a 5.96 ERA this year and lost to the Rangers on April 4. He's 4-3 with a 3.28 ERA in his career against them.
