Free agent Scott Kazmir works out for Rangers

Left-hander Scott Kazmir, who was released by the Los Angeles Angels, worked out for the Rangers earlier this week. Kazmir was healthy for the workout but no decision has been made on if the Rangers will sign Kazmir.

“We’ve talked with him, doing our due diligence," Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said. "Not sure if anything’s going to come of it, but we try to look at every opportunity to see if someone can help us.”

Please,..there has to be better arms out there than Kazmir. "Due diligence"? More like desparation.
