Hamilton's All-Star lead shrinks

Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton, the team's only legitimate chance for a starter in the All-Star Game, has a lead of just over 120,000 votes of Boston's Jacoby Ellsbury for the third and final starting spot in the AL outfield.

Voting ends Thursday.

Designated hitter Michael Young and third baseman Adrian Beltre are the only other two Rangers in the top two in voting. Young trails Boston's David Ortiz by more than two million votes and Beltre is more than 800,000 behind New York's Alex Rodriguez at third base.
