Left-hander Matt Harrison said that he won't start Thursday at Cleveland after the blister on his left index finger didn't respond well after he threw catch today. Long reliever Dave Bush will make his third spot start of the year.
The blister developed Saturday as Harrison pitched six innings. He threw 21 pitches in a bullpen session Tuesday, but had tape covering the blister. The tape was removed Wednesday, and the blister was raw after he threw.
"It's definitely frustrating," said Harrison, who hasn't allowed a run in his past 16 1/3 innings. "But it's better to go ahead and get it taken care of now."

The Rangers training staff seriously needs to be looked at. We have more injuries during a season than any other team. Hamstrings, groins, blisters, etc.
