Texas All-Star shortstop Elvis Andrus was forced to leave Friday's game after the Mets with a sprained left wrist. Andrus stole second in the bottom of the fourth with a headfirst slide. He tried to go to third when the throw sailed into center, but was blocked by Jose Reyes. Andrus, who had two hits on the night, was replaced by Andres Blanco to open the fifth.
The Rangers are still evaluating the severity of the injury.
