Rangers catcher Mike Napoli headed to DL

The Rangers will put Mike Napoli on the 15-day disabled list today with a strained oblique muscle. Taylor Teagarden is en route to Target Field from Triple A Round Rock, which is playing at Iowa. Yorvit Torrealba will start today at catcher, and David Murphy will be the designated hitter.

Napoli caught and played all nine innings Saturday. He singled in the eighth and scored on Murphy's single to prevent a shutout in an 8-1 loss. Napoli is hitting .225 with 10 homers and 25 RBIs.
