Rangers president Nolan Ryan said the team's bullpen has been pitching better lately and the staff could get a boost when Tommy Hunter, Scott Feldman and Darren O'Day are healthy and ready.
Ryan wouldn't say for sure the team will go outside the organization to bolster the bullpen.
"It really comes down to who might be available," Ryan said. "It's premature to make a statement like that because I don't know who we might be able to make a deal for. If the right person was out there, yeah I'd say we'd probably try to strengthen the club some way whether it's in the bullpen or wherever. The fact we don't have something pending, it's pure speculation."
