Rangers Sunday lineup without Josh Hamilton

Texas manager Ron Washington said he's giving Josh Hamilton the day off today because he thought he looked tired, and not because of his struggles in the day games. Hamilton is 6 for 53 in day games this year and went 0 for 4 yesterday with four strikeouts.

Also in the lineup today for a third-consecutive day is David Murphy. Washington said that likely won't be the case in Houston, with Mitch Moreland shifting to right field and Michael Young starting at first.

As for the lineup vs. the Mets

1. Ian Kinsler, 2B

2. Endy Chavez, CF

3. Michael Young, DH

4. Adrian Beltre, 3B

5. Nelson Cruz, RF

6. Mitch Moreland, 1B

7. David Murphy, LF

8. Taylor Teagarden, C

9. Andres Blanco, SS
