Today's Mets-Rangers lineups

Josh Hamilton, as was reported in an earlier blog post, is not in the lineup today. It was a planned day off, he said, to coincide with Monday's off day. He's getting two days off while missing only one game. The Mets, meanwhile, returned to the lineup that didn't serve them very well Friday against Matt Harrison. Another lefty, Derek Holland, is pitching today for the Rangers.

Mets lineup vs. LHP Derek Holland: Jose Reyes, ss; Justin Turner, 3b; Carlos Beltran, dh; Jason Bay, lf; Scott Hairston, rf; Ronny Paulino, c; Daniel Murphy, 1b; Angel Pagan, cf; Ruben Tejada, 2b.

Rangers lineup vs. RHP Dillon Gee: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Endy Chavez, cf; Michael Young, dh; Adrian Beltre, 3b; Nelson Cruz, rf; Mitch Moreland, 1b; David Murphy, lf; Taylor Teagarden, c; Andres Blanco, ss.
