Wednesday pregame Rangers notes

Not a ton out there this afternoon, but there's some noteworthy stuff.

LHP Matt Harrison threw his regular bullpen session and said there was no pain in his bruised left triceps, suffered Sunday at Minnesota. He expects to start Saturday at Atlanta.

RF Nelson Cruz, 0 for 14 with nine strikeouts his past four games, said that he has made an adjustment with how his front foot lands during his swing and expects to shake out of his mini-slump.

Expect RHP Neftali Feliz to pitch tonight regardless of the score in the game. He hasn't pitched since last Wednesday, though he has warmed up twice in the bullpen. Manager Ron Washington said that helps keep some rust off, but Feliz "needs to face hitters."

The Yankees are expected to start RHP Brian Gordon on Thursday. Gordon spent about a month with the Rangers at the end of the 2008 season. He has ties to bench coach Jackie Moore and team president Nolan Ryan during his time in the minors at Round Rock, where he converted from outfielder to pitcher.
