Rangers CEO and team president Nolan Ryan continues to show improvement at a Houston-area hospital, and a series of tests taken Monday showed no further complications with his heart condition. He is expected to be released from the hospital either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Ryan felt discomfort Sunday morning at his home in Georgetown and was taken to Houston, where his cardiologist practices. The heart condition was discovered 11 years ago, when Ryan had a double-bypass surgery to alleviate an arterial blockage. He was also hospitalized in 2007.
