Just about every member of the baseball operations staff has made the trip to Toronto as the Rangers try to hammer out a trade -- or multiple trades -- before the non-waiver trade deadline arrives Sunday.
General manager Jon Daniels and crew have made camp at the team hotel. The bullpen remains their No. 1 priority, with closers Heath Bell, Leo Nunez and Andrew Bailey on the radar.
Bell can become a free agent after the season, but Nunez and Bailey are under club control next season. Bailey can't be a free agent until 2015, and he would allow the Rangers to move Neftali Feliz into the rotation next year.
Daniels showed last year with the Cliff Lee trade that he isn't afraid to deal within the division. Seattle got four prospects, including Justin Smoak, from the Rangers in the Lee deal. Oakland would likely want shortstop prospect Jurickson Profar in any deal for Bailey.
