The Rangers have indeed activated Scott Feldman from the 60-day DL. The corresponding move to free up a 25-man roster spot was to option fellow righty Darren O'Day, which comes as a surprise even though he has struggled some since returning from the DL. Lefty Zachary Phillips was designated for assignment to create a 40-man roster spot.
General manager Jon Daniels is in Seattle and is planning to speak to the media shortly. The moves come after Feldman refused an assignment to Triple A after clearing outright waivers Wednesday.

Very poor move by Feldman. he only cares about himself and not the team. Get rid of him. Just eat the salary. Never should have been signed to a long term contract after just one good year. Feldman is a total loser.
