Neftali Feliz didn't think being used for a third consecutive night had any effect in leading to his sixth blown save of the season.
With the Rangers leading 4-3 going into the ninth, Feliz gave up three runs on three hits, as the Indians pulled away for a 7-5 victory on Saturday night.
"I felt good," Feliz said. "I don't think I had any problems with my arm. I was 100 percent. I was trying to do the same thing [as the first two nights], and that's what happens."
Feliz had thrown a total of 26 pitches on Thursday and Friday. He threw a perfect ninth for a save Thursday in Detroit, and then gave up a hit over 1 2/3 scoreless innings in earning the victory on Friday.
But Saturday marked his sixth blown save of the season, doubling his total from last year.
Asked if there was a particular reason for that, Feliz said: "I can not give a full explanation on that reason from last year, but I feel good. I have to just keep my head up."
Feliz said his confidence level is the same as it was last season, and that he feels comfortable throwing all of his secondary pitches.
