Texas has purchased the contracts of OF Leonys Martin and P Mark Hamburger from Triple-A Round Rock. The Hamburger move is pending due to a 40-man roster move.
The Rangers placed right fielder Nelson Cruz (left hamstring) and right-hander Darren O'Day (right shoulder inflammation) on the DL to create spots on the 25-man roster for Martin and Hamburger.
