Friday's Rangers-Mariners lineups

Yorvit Torrealba is the Rangers' starter at catcher in the series opener against Seattle after Mike Napoli had caught the previous three. Manager Ron Washington, though, refused to say that Napoli had moved ahead of Torrealba as the Rangers' primary catcher, saying that the Rangers need both guys to be successful. Torrealba, in fact, could start a second straight game Saturday, though Washington seems more inclined to use Napoli's hot bat. Adrian Beltre is the DH tonight for a little break off his left hamstring.

Rangers lineup vs. RHP Blake Beavan: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Elvis Andrus, ss; Josh Hamilton, lf; Michael Young, 3b; Adrian Beltre, dh; David Murphy, rf; Yorvit Torrealba, c; Mitch Moreland, 1b; Endy Chavez, cf.

Mariners lineup vs. LHP C.J. Wilson: Ichiro Suzuki, rf; Brendan Ryan, ss; Dustin Ackley, 2b; Miguel Olivo, c; Mike Carp, 1b; Wily Mo Pena, dh; Kyle Seager, 3b; Trayvon Robinson, lf; Casper Wells, cf.
