Left-hander Martin Perez and right-hander Neil Ramirez, two of the Texas Rangers highly touted pitching prospects, will join the team for a couple of days to learn and observe from the team. They will not be active.

Perez, widely regarded as the organization's No. 1 prospect, went 8-6 with a 4.33 ERA in 27 games, including 26 starts, this season between Double A Frisco and Triple A Round Rock.

Ramirez went 5-3 with a 3.12 ERA in 25 starts between High A Myrtle Beach, Double A Frisco and Triple A Round Rock.
