Fate of today's Game 6 could be decided at 1 p.m.

Reports from various media outlets in St. Louis say that Cardinals General Manager John Mozeliak will meet with Major League Baseball officials at 1 p.m. Wednesday to determine whether Game 6 can be postponed early.

"It makes a lot of sense not to play if it's going to be sort of stop-and-go baseball and we're going to be pulling the tarp multiple times," Mozeliak said on 590 The Fan in St. Louis, according to a report by KMOX Radio.

The forecast calls for light rain throughout the evening, with temperatures in the 50s. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
