Major League Baseball has announced that Game 6 of the World Series has been postponed because of inclement weather and a forecast that calls for rain throughout the day.
The decision was made by MLB, the Rangers and the Cardinals. All parties agreed that they would rather postpone the game than have a potential clinching game interrupted by bad weather.
So, the Rangers have to wait another day before getting a chance to clinch their first world championship. Game 6 will now be played at 7:05 p.m. Thursday and an if-necessary Game 7 would be at 7:05 p.m. Friday.
