World Series Game 3 lineups

Ron Washington stuck to his word and penciled Yorvit Torrealba into the lineup at catcher. Torrealba, said Washington, is a big reason why the Rangers won 96 games, and he has good knowledge of the St. Louis lineup from his days in the National League. Mike Napoli goes to first, and Michael Young is the DH. St. Louis, with the DH at its disposal, has Allen Craig in right field and Lance Berkman at DH.

Cardinals lineup vs. LHP Matt Harrison: Rafael Furcal, ss; Allen Craig, rf; Albert Pujols, 1b; Matt Holliday, lf; Lance Berkman, dh; David Freese, 3b; Yadier Molina, c; Jon Jay, cf; Ryan Teriot, 2b.

Rangers lineup vs. RHP Kyle Lohse: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Elvis Andrus, ss; Josh Hamilton, cf; Michael Young, dh; Adrian Beltre, 3b; Nelson Cruz, rf; Mike Napoli, 1b; David Murphy, lf; Yorvit Torrealba, c.
