Friday's Rangers notes: Cruz, Andrus back in lineup vs. Colorado

Nelson Cruz and Elvis Andrus were given Thursday off, but returned to the lineup on Friday versus Colorado. Cruz left Wednesday's game with a bruised right hand, while Andrus has been sidelined with a tight right hip flexor.

Here is Texas' lineup: 1. Ian Kinsler (2B); 2. Elvis Andrus (SS); 3. Josh Hamilton (CF); 4. Mike Napoli (C); 5. Michael Young (3B); 6. Nelson Cruz (RF); 7. Mitch Moreland (1B); 8. Yorvit Torrealba (DH); 9. Craig Gentry (LF).

Pitchers -- Yu Darvish, Robbie Ross, Tanner Scheppers.

Other notes from Friday:

* The Rangers aren't looking for a utility infielder. They feel comfortable with Alberto Gonzalez or Luis Hernanez. They do remain active in searching for a right-handed bat who can play the outfield.

* Mike Adams threw a scoreless inning of relief in an intrasquad game earlier today. He gave up one hit with two strikeouts and no walks in his 22-pitch outing.
