Rangers highlights for upcoming homestand

The Texas Rangers return home from a 10-day road trip on Monday with a three-game series against the New York Yankees. They have an offday on Thursday and then a three-game series against Tampa Bay before heading on an 11-day road trip to Toronto, Cleveland and Baltimore.

Here are the highlights for the homestand:

Monday vs. New York, 6:05 p.m. start: Ivan Rodriguez retirement ceremony. Rodriguez will throw out the first pitch with the game ball delivery by former pitcher John Burkett.

Tuesday vs. New York, 7:05 p.m. start: Pre-game ceremony honoring Jackie Robinson and Tuskegee Airmen presentation. Negro Leagues Baseball Museum president Bob Kendrick to present awards to Ron Washington and Michael Young. Texas State Senator Royce West will throw out the first pitch, and Rusty Greer will do the game ball delivery.

Wednesday vs. New York, 7:05 p.m. start: All-Star balloting pre-game ceremony with game ball delivery by John Wetteland. It's also $1 hot dog Wednesday.

Friday vs. Tampa Bay, 7:05 p.m. start: Friday Fireworks. Tickets are $10 in the Lexus Club Terrace, Upper Box and Upper Reserved seats. All cash parking is $5.

Saturday vs. Tampa Bay, 7:05 p.m. start: Adrian Beltre bobblehead giveaway for first 30,000 fans. Game ball delivery by Mickey Tettleton.

Sunday vs. Tampa Bay, 7:05 p.m. start: Mike Napoli red jersey giveaway for fans 13 and under. It's also $1 ice cream Sunday, and Jose Guzman will do the game ball delivery.
