Rangers video: Ivan Rodriguez announces retirement from professional baseball

Ivan Rodriguez, who began his 21-year baseball career with the Texas Rangers in 1991, announced his retirement from professional baseball on Monday afternoon at Rangers Ballpark.

Rodriguez leaves the game with one MVP (1), 14 All-Star appearances and 13 Gold Gloves. Here is the statement he gave following remarks from Tom Grieve and Nolan Ryan.
