Tuesday's Yankees-Rangers lineups

A right-hander is on the mound for New York, which means that David Murphy and Mitch Moreland have resurfaced in the Rangers' lineup. Manager Ron Washington doesn't like to label his left-handed hitters as platoon players, so instead he said that he's trying to field the best lineup each game. When a lefty is on the mound, that means Mike Napoli at first and Craig Gentry in center, and Murphy and Moreland on the bench. When it's a righty, like tonight and the next three games, Murphy and Moreland are in.

Yankees lineup vs. RHP Yu Darvish: Derek Jeter, ss; Curtis Granderson, cf; Alex Rodriguez, dh; Robinson Cano, 2b; Mark Teixeira, 1b; Nick Swisher, rf; Raul Ibanez, lf; Eric Chavez, 3b; Russell Martin, c.

Rangers lineup vs. RHP Hiroki Kuroda: Ian Kinsler, 2b; Elvis Andrus, ss; Josh Hamilton, cf; Adrian Beltre, 3b; Michael Young, dh; Nelson Cruz, rf; David Murphy, lf; Mike Napoli, c; Mitch Moreland, 1b.
