Nelson Cruz left Saturday's game with tightness in right quad

Texas Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz left Saturday's game against the Houston Astros with tightness in his right quad.

Cruz said it isn't anything serious, and he expects to play on Sunday. Cruz said he's been playing with the tightness for the past three games, and there wasn't a specific incident that triggered it to act up on Saturday.

"Just tightness, nothing big," Cruz said.

Cruz exited in the middle of the eighth inning after he had a poor at-bat in the top of the inning.

With Texas trailing 6-5 and runners at first and second with no outs, Cruz flew out to shallow rightfield. It wasn't deep enough for the runner to advance to third.

"I tried to drive the ball and at least move the runner over," Cruz said. "I missed my pitch."
