Move over, That's the Way Baseball Go. A rap song has been written by a Seattle group at the behest of Mike Adams, and he believes that Texas Back at It will hit iTunes on Monday.
In the piece, written and performed by INK featuring Illicit, Zica and Pain, 20 of the 25 Rangers players are mentioned in some way, shape or form. Adams armed the group with players nicknames and clubhouse themes, which pop up frequently over the 3-minute song.
The players first heard it in Seattle, though the group was unable to be at Safeco Field.
“The guys loved it,” said Adams, who was first introduced to the group when he was with San Diego. “They wanted to hear it over and over.”
